Green Deal Accreditation

Green Deal Certification & Support

Green Deal InstallerIf you’re interested in working with the national Green Deal Provider, YES Energy Solutions (manager of Green Deal Installer Hub) and bidding for future installer contracts, then you will need to complete the Green Deal accreditation process.

The Green Deal Register opened in August 2012 for Installers, Providers and Advisors. To become a certified Green Deal Installer you must register with an official Green Deal accreditation body.

There are several bodies available that help installers achieve the PAS 2030 standard for the measures they wish to install.

If you are Gas Safe registered or a member of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), your Green Deal accreditation may be slightly different. Installers are advised to contact their original accreditation bodies, providing they are Green Deal certified, to initiate the process.

There are many Green Deal accreditation support packages available which can help installers manage their requirements. Although these packages are useful, installers must still register with an official Green Deal Accreditation body to complete the certification process.

Once you have undergone your Green Deal accreditation, your company will be registered with the official Green Deal Oversight and Registration Body (this will be facilitated through your chosen accreditation partner). You will then be issued with a license to carry the Green Deal Quality Mark and start installations under the scheme.
